Abstract
This study aims to understand the factors influencing medical service users' willingness to use medical services as artificial intelligence is expected to expand and disseminate with IBM's Watson for Onology as the starting point.
Among the perceived risk factors from the AI treatment system, we identify the risk factors affecting the intention to use the medical service users, and the artificial intelligence that the prior use doctors of others affecting the proliferation of new technologies must take physical risks The purpose of this study was to examine whether it has a positive effect on doctors who use medical services.
In particular, the differences in the intention of medical service users to use AI services according to the severity of the disease were also examined.
However, according to the controlled focus theory (Higgins 1996), service users may differ in their intention to use the AI treatment system depending on whether they have an improved focus or a defensive focus.
In this study, we analyzed whether there was a difference in the intention of using the AI treatment system according to the control focus, and also examined the interaction effect between the severity of the disease and the control focus, but no significant difference was clearly drawn.
Finally, in the case of providing a medical service using the AI treatment system, there may be a situation in which opinions or disagreements between doctors' diagnosis and prescription and the AI treatment system are diagnosed and prescribed.
In this case, if the opinions do not agree with each other, service users comparatively analyzed which subject's diagnosis and prescription to follow, and examined how it affects trust in doctors.
For patients who visited the hospital, the seriousness of each patient's disease and the risk of recognizing the AI treatment system, the patient's control focus, and the perception of the intention to accept the AI treatment system (Watson for Onology) were investigated. In addition, empirical comparative analysis is conducted by investigating who will follow the opinions of patients who use the artificial intelligence treatment system and trust in the doctor's prescription and the treatment and treatment methods of the doctor and the artificial intelligence treatment system. It is one of the first studies.
